Discover Kpop Entertainment Companies

Let’s be real. How exciting would it be to visit the buildings where so much magic has happened. Most of our favorite artists had to start somewhere before they were big stars. So why not visit their companies and maybe get a peek of them in the process?

Big Hit Entertainment

Of course the most notable artist to come from this entertainment company is BTS. They also have artists such as Lee ChangMin and Homme.

Also, fun fact, they are moving to another new building in May of 2020. Since BTS is such a huge conglomerate at the moment, they need a bigger building to support all their success.

Current Building Address: Floor Yangjin Plaza 5F, 5 Hakdong-ro 30-gil, Nonhyeon 2(i)-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

Cube

We all know who the big powerhouse behind Cube is… If you say Hyuna, then you are right. This queen runs the damn show. Cube Entertainment is also home to artists like BtoB, CLC, and Pentagon.

Located outside of Seongsu Station, there is also a cafe at the bottom. If you’re lucky, you might see your favorite artist and maybe some trainees.

Address: 83 Achasan-ro, Seongsu-dong 2(i)-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul

FNC

Let’s start with a roll call of your favorite artists like AOA, F.T. Island, and CN Blue. The building is closed to visitors, but as a fan you can go and take a picture of the building’s exterior and hope for a glimpse of your favorite stars.

Address: 46 Dosan-daero 85-gil, Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

JYP

Even though JYP himself is a shitty Kpop star, he definitely knows talent when he sees it. Hence his very successful entertainment business and army of talented stars. His company manages artists like Twice, Miss A, GOT7, and 2PM.

Address: 205 Gangdong-daero, Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul

SM Entertainment

If you’re a fan of Shinee, EXO, Red Velvet, Super Junior, BoA or NCT, then you definitely want to visit this building. It’s kinda where the dreams of these artists came trie.

Address: 114 Seolleung-ro 190-gil, Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

YG Entertainment

Everyone knows YG because of the kings… Big Bang. Even though one of the members is a piece of trash, the rest are still pretty okay in my book. Even though YG is completely enveloped in scandal and their CEO just stepped down, they are working to become a better entertainment company. If you’re a fan of artists like Black Pink, 2NE1, and PSY, you gotta make the visit.

Address: 397-5 Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

Luckily for all Kpop fans, you can make a day trip out of all these entertainment companies since they are all nearby. Keep in mind most of these buildings (except the Cube cafe) are closed to visitors, but it’s always fin to go for bragging rights.

Koreans love shopping and as a result, many underground shopping malls have appeared. A lot of the time, they have clothes, electronics, and other merchandise sold for a very cheap price.

In Myeongdong, there is an ENTIRE section of the underground shopping mall dedicated to everyone who loves Kpop. There, you will find anything from pillows, blankets, keychains, socks, hats, dolls, etc. You dream it. They most likely have it.
