Travel is my middle name. Let me clarify. I don’t have one in real life, but if I could choose one, it would definitely be travel. Some of you coming to this page are like YAHS. Finally a place where awesome travel groups, tours and services can be put in one place. Korea is a land with so much beauty and potential—from wine tasting to hiking mountains. These are groups I have personally used or heard good reviews from other expats. I know there’s so many out there, but these will rock your face off. I promise. 😉
Why are the after-mentioned the best groups, tours, and services in Korea? They all offer seasonal and year round trips whether it be the dead of winter or the cherry blossoms of spring.

Since they are funded by government, most programs are free or really cheap because they’re subsidized.
Eat Local
Are you a major foodie and have a fetish for taking #foodporn photos? Maybe you would just love to taste the country’s premium eats? You’ve come to the right place. This group organizes local and farm tours which means it doesn’t get any more authentic or organic than this. You get to try premium home cooked meals and even wine tours! Sign me up for wine o’clock. 😉
Enjoy Korea
This is a tour company that caters to English speakers residing, studying, or working in Korea. They are a licensed tour company and specialize in travel and events all over the country. Hangul gives me a headache sometimes so don’t let it give you one! Everything on their website is in English and it’s user friendly.
Gastro Tour Seoul
I love this tour because this is the first of its kind. Most Koreans don’t really care about going to multiple places to taste food. They usually have one thing on their mind to eat, and then they go eat it. Gastro Tour is phenomenal because they work with several restaurants to provide a small sample menu. Their aim is to provide a premium culinary and cultural experience. My favorite so far is the Seoul 7017 tour. When are you getting your foodie bad self there? 😉
Goh Travel
This company aims to bring people together from all walks of life. It’s geared towards expats but travelers from other countries are welcome too.
Good Times ROK
Are you the life of the party and like to drink yourself silly on the weekends and wake up with the hangover regrets? I’ve been there too, and this company organizes the BEST parties. I went to their Fourth of July bash on the Han River and it was complete with DJs, music, and fireworks.

These include activities, Hallyu, private cars, airport transport accommodation, tours, wifi and more. Live Korea
If you’re one of those social media lovers, this group is definitely for you. You can keep up to date on everything that is going on in South Korea through their social media channels like Facebook and Instagram. Yes, I mean everything from festivals, tours, and concerts. They often post the free UNESCO tours (even though they pitch to students everyone is welcome).
Let’s Play Planet
Tired of all the Kpop, Kdramas, and yay Hallyu culture crap? (Sometimes I get tired of it too.) If you’ve ever wanted the local experience and what it’s really like to be one with the culture in Korea, then Let’s Play Planet is a great new start up tour company. They organize cultural experiences like making songpyeon and other home cooking lessons with locals.
Oh My Oppa
This is every fangirl’s dream come true. You can book a private tour with a handsome oppa and have him take you around to any of the designated tour areas. These include places like Gangnam, Hongdae, and even the Han River. There’s something for everyone from the cafe dwellers to the food porn addicts.
One More Trip
One of the biggest and new up and coming travel sites, One More Trip offers a variety of mini tours and events. Hate being with large groups of people? No worries. One More Trip offers tours on a smaller scale so you’re not stressing about what other people are doing. They offer trips like Samhae Brewery and getaways to Petite France.

Seoul Hiking Group
Not into all the crazy tours, drinking, here there and everywhere? Don’t worry! This group is for you! If you enjoy nature and being outdoors, Seoul Hiking Group is where you need to be. Members organize hiking excursions from beginning to intermediate.
Sool Gallery
If you’re into free alcohol tasting, Sool Gallery is a place where they showcase different alcohols around Korea. Every month they feature a different province and even offer free tours to premium alcohol factories around Gyeonggi-do. It’s open from 10am-8pm Tuesday-Sunday.
Templestay Korea
Wanna get down the way the monks do? Enjoy weekends or days of meditation, vegetarianism, and relaxation with a temple stay. Sometimes life gets to be too much and you need a place to get away from social media, people, and other negative influences. You’ll typically be up in the mountains and away from civilization where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. I can’t recommend an experience like this enough.
Trazy
It’s no secret Trazy is one of my favorite tour companies as they are the most organized and biggest in the greater Korean peninsula and around Thailand. My favorite Trazy tours are ones where I’ve gone to Jangho Beach, and Nami Island and Garden of the Morning Calm. They also offer ways to easily book Kpop concerts and enjoy premium services like getting pampered like a Hallyu star at Whoo Spa.

Wink
They are a licensed travel business that aims to provide memorable, exciting and fun trips throughout Korea. The owner of the business really understands foreigners and their mindsets. He really caters to our needs and has even opened up an amazing restaurant close to Seoul National University Station where they serve the BEST western food I’ve ever had. They often hold clothing swaps and awesome brunch specials.
I hope one of these groups stands out to you and will help you while you’re an expat or traveling in Korea. I know these have been a lifesaver for me and have helped me see places I would have had a harder time doing alone. Where are you going in your next adventure in Korea? 😉
This is a very useful post. Bloggers often don’t compile this kind of information. Thank you for putting it together. When we go to other countries, sometimes, group tours and cultural tours become a great way to know the country better and understand it’s history. When I visit Korea, will check these tours out
