Most Instagrammable Places in Jamsil

We’re going to start with Jamsil as it is one of my absolute most favorite places in Seoul, South Korea. Having lived in Hanam City, I had easy access to the east side of the city. Since I lived so close, I could easily find Instagrammable places in Seoul.

1. Arc-N-Book

Arc-N-Book is one of the most notable Seoul Instagram spots. This was the second location after the one in Myeongdong opened. You can find it in the Lotte World Mall in Jamsil.

Photo Tip: For uninterrupted photos, go during the week. On the weekends, it gets very packed.

2. Basilur Cafe

Instagram in Korea was how I found the amazing Basilur Cafe. It is located on the top floor of the Lotte World Mall. Their teas are absolutely delicious and the little tins they come in are very Victorian themed. I honestly love them!

Photo Tip: Come here during the week after you take photos at Arc & Book Jamsil Branch.

3. Common Ground

These storage containers were repurposed and painted blue to give a really fun place to hang out and shop for the younger crowd. It’s one of the most popular places to take photos, eat, shop, and play. It’s one of the best Seoul photography spots because it is so unique.

Photo Tip: Come here early in the day. I found taking photos before 11am is perfect. Most of the restaurants and cafes open around that time.

4. Seoul Cheg Bogo

During the 2020 pandemic, I was really bored and scrolling around the Seoul Instagram hashtags. I found this bookstore to be super unique and decided I just HAD to get a photo here. Little did I know, I actually started a trend.

Photo Tip: This bookstore is not time dependent and you can come at any time you like.

5. DThrone Cafe

As far as unique pictures in Seoul go, you can never go wrong with DThrone Cafe. As you can see, they have these motorized scooters in the shape of old cars. One person can stand in the back and steer and the other can sit and enjoy the ride. And YES, it is for adults as much as for children.

Photo Tip: This cafe isn’t time dependent and you can come whenever you like. I recommend trying their lunch special if there’s a wait and then signing up to go for a ride later.

6. Lotte World

Lotte World is probably the best representation of that Seoul Korea aesthetic. It’s the biggest indoor amusement park in the world and delights people of all ages. If you’re interested in going, you can book your tickets to Lotte World here.

Photo Tip: Lotte World is ALWAYS busy. I have never seen it not crowded with people. If you want the same photo I got, the best way is to stand on the outdoor track so you can get the castle in the background.

7. Lotte World Mall

The Lotte World Mall 6th floor steps is one of best places in Seoul for seasonal photographs. Each season and holiday is showcased spectacularly on these stairs.

Photo Tip: I recommend going to this location during the week and in the morning. I’ve gone at several times during the weekend. There’s always heavy foot traffic due to all the restaurants on the top floor.

8. Lotte World Tower

Lotte World Tower is one of the most Instagram worthy places in Seoul. Did you know it is also the fifth tallest building in the world? If you’re scratching your head and trying to figure out why it looks like the Shard in London, it’s because it does.

Photo Tip: I really like the bustling cityscape in this photo. If you go directly across the street to set up your camera, you’re going to get a cool photo like this.

9. Olympic Park

Olympic Park is great in all seasons, and yes, this includes winter. This place is so iconic as the site of the 1988 Olympics that put South Korea on the world map for the first time. The best scenery in Seoul can be found here year round.

Photo Tip: This area really isn’t time dependent. Since the park is huge and most activities are inside, you can get an awesome photo like this. I think sunset is really cool time as it illuminates the arches.

10. Olympic Park Cosmos Garden

The Olympic Park Cosmos Garden is also one of the most popular places to take pictures in Seoul during spring and autumn. The blossoms are pink and purple in spring.

Photo Tip: This garden is super popular. I recommend going during the week and early in the morning. Despite this, you’re definitely going to run into an ajhumma or three doing their morning exercises.

11. Olympic Park Rose Plaza

Olympic Park Rose Garden is considered one of the most pretty places in South Korea. When the roses come into full bloom in late spring the garden smells like a dream made in heaven.

Photo Tip: The rose garden does get super busy especially where the statue with the Korean flag is in the middle. If you want good photos, go early in the day. If you want the same photo as me, I actually was playing with angles and sitting in the grass.

12. Seoulism Cafe

This is one of the most Instagram worthy cafes in Seoul, hands down. Drinks range from 7,500 won – 11,000 won. In order to enter the cafe, they have a rule of one drink per customer. If you go during a popular day or time, expect to wait awhile for your photos Is the 11,000 won drink completely unnecessary? Absolutely. Are the photos worth it? You bet your ass they are.

Photo Tip: This cafe is popular every day of the week, but not as busy as on the weekends. If you want a great sunset picture go during the week. The cafe is first come, first serve and they do have a capacity limit because of COVID-19.

13. Seokchon Lake

This manmade lake surrounding the outdoor portion of Lotte World is legit perfect in spring, summer, and fall. With spring, you’ll get loads of fluffy, pink cherry blossoms; in summer, you’ll be privy to fun floats placed on the lake; and in fall, you’ll get to see the zombies running around Lotte World and the trees changing to so many gorgeous colors of red, yellow, and orange.

Photo Tip: If you walk on the path above the track around Seokchon Lake, you can frame your photo with Lotte Tower in the back. To get the best photos, go during the week.

14. Seoul Sky

There’s fancy convenience stores, a hotel, shopping, and restaurants located in this space. It makes for a wildly entertaining afternoon and even a great photo location. It’s a bit pricy to go up to the observation deck, but on a clear day, the view is breathtaking. Book your ticket here for a discount.

Photo Tip: To get this photo, I went during the week and during sunset. You’re not allowed your tripod, so I asked a really nice man to help me take this one.

Most Instagrammable Places in Gangnam

Gangnam was thrust onto the map after Psy’s Gangnam Style took the world by storm. This is one of the most expensive places in Seoul after Myeongdong. It’s a ritzy and upperclass neighborhood.

15. Art Monster

Art Monster in Gangnam is one of my favorite Seoul Instagram spots. Not only is the outside alley hella freaking cool, but the inside is as well. Honestly, it reminds me of some of the bars I visited in Hong Kong. In the bar, you can get a bracelet where you can try different beers and wines on tap. When you’re ready to cash out, you just pay for what you drank. They also have bar food here.

Photo Tip: This location is great for street fashion. I took this photo just as the sun was about to set so I would have enough light. The last time I was here, the staff yelled at me for my tripod and photos, but I was really confused as there was no one around. I think they were just cranky. Be discreet and quiet so you don’t draw attention to yourself.

16. Banpo Floating Islands (세빛둥둥섬)

There’s usually light displays all year long around the islands, but it especially comes alive during the Christmas season. It makes for an incredible place for a night time photoshoot. Bring along a photographer friend, and let the magic happen. It’s also a really great place to watch the sunset.

Photo Tip: I recommend coming at sunset like I did to get this photo. Once the light starts fading, the building starts lighting up and it’s so darn cool!

17. Bongeunsa Temple

Bongeunsa temple is particularly lovely around Buddha’s Birthday. It comes to life with colorful lanterns. In fall, you can feast your eyes on the changing colors of the foliage. While in spring, you can feel the tranquility of the delicate cherry blossoms. If you’re looking for beautiful places in Seoul, Bongeunsa Temple should definitely be on your list. You can even book a temple stay here.

Photo Tip: Bongeunsa Temple isn’t usually time dependent. You can get great photos at any time of the day. If you want photos with the hanging lanterns also go in the morning.

18. K-Star Road

You’ll get the best photos of Seoul on K-Star Avenue especially if you’re a Kpop fan. The road features a lot of famous groups and artists that have left their marks on the Korean music industry.

Photo Tip: K-Star Road isn’t time dependent. You can take pictures with any of the Bears at any time of day.

19. MammaMia Doosan

If you’re looking for cute places in Seoul, then MammaMia Doosan is your one stop shop. They have the best croffles and desserts in Seoul. If you’re looking for pink and floral photos, you’re going to fall in love with the hanging wisteria outside.

Photo Tip: Go in the morning when the cafe opens. It gets really crowded in the afternoon.

20. Park 913

The Park 913 restaurant in Cheongdam is super bougie. FYI the food there isn’t the greatest, but the drinks are hella bomb. You can get a great Seoul night view from the restaurant with a great shot of the Namsan Tower. P.S. The hottest people I have ever seen in my life work here too.

Photo Tip: Make a reservation and let them know you want the back table on the right hand side.

21. Rooftop Kloud

Rooftop Cloud is one of my favorite night time photo spots in Seoul. You get a great view of Seoul from the rooftop and they even play rooftop movies. Seriously, it’s so cool!

Photo Tip: I went during the weekend in April while it was still cold and it wasn’t that crowded. It is an expensive bar, so that could have been it. It does get busy in summer and autumn.

22. Starfield Library at CoEx Mall

I’m giving away my secret right now… And that is if you post any photo taken at the Starfield Library at the Coex Mall, you will be an Instagram sensation. Instagram’s algorithm has picked this out to be a very popular place and will post you in the impressions if you take photos here. So sit back and enjoy this aesthetically pleasing location.

Also, just a heads up this mall gets super crowded so be sure to go early since reading books at this library is absolutely free and they have titles in English, Korean, French, and Spanish.

Photo Tip: Since this is the most photographed library in Asia, if you want good photos, go during the week right when the mall opens. Or go super late at night.

23. Gangnam Style Hands

Were you really in Korea unless you took a photo of the Gangnam Style Hands? This is a tribute to Psy who made his Kpop song go viral.

Photo Tip: This location isn’t really time dependent. You can go at any time of the day. Stop outside here after taking photos at the Starfield Library.

24. Park Hyatt

If you’re looking for one of the most Instagram worthy restaurants in Seoul, I definitely recommend the Park Hyatt. If you have afternoon tea and then take the elevator down two floors to use the bathroom, you’ll find this window facing the CoEx Mall.

Photo Tip: Lemme tell ya, the Park Hyatt makes for delicious photography due to the awesome views of Gangnam. I recommend booking your stay at the Park Hyatt as their pool also has phenomenal views.

Most Instagrammable Places in Hongdae

Hongdae is literally cafe central. This is where you’re going to find the most interesting activities and most unique cafes in Seoul. I love Hongdae for how reasonable and affordable it is. Plus the vibe there just cannot be beat.

25. 63 Building Aquarium

Did you know you can see real live mermaids in Seoul? This has probably been one of the coolest experiences to date. Combine a little fantasy magic with one of my favorite cities on earth and BOOM. If you’e looking for cool places to take pictures in Seoul, the 63 Building Aquarium should definitely be on your list. Book your tickets to the 63 Building Aquarium and Sky Gallery.

Photo Tip: You’re going to have to use some Photoshop magic like I did. The honest to god fact is thee are tons of annoying little children screaming and putting their hands on the glass. The mermaids do an amazing show and really entertain the kids. Take a photo of yourself sitting while there are no mermaids. Then take photos of the mermaids and merge the photos together.

26. Chegro Bookstore (채그로)

The Chegro Bookstore will give you a fantastic picture of Seoul. Located in Hongdae on the south bank of the Han River, you can’t go wrong with your photography here.

Photo Tip: This is a super popular location in Seoul for how well it does on Instagram. If you want the least amount of obstruction, go during the week. Just to get this photo, we had to wait and it was super hot.

27. Dinga Cake House

Dinga Cake House is one of the most aesthetic places in Seoul. This is because is has been used countless times in Kpop music videos. It has a 1950s vintage America vibe. Not only that, the cakes here are excellent!

Photo Tip: Go in the morning at 11am when it opens. The cafe really starts hopping around noon.

28. Greem Cafe

When photographing Seoul, you have to capture this awesome 2D cafe! This cafe inspired so many other amazing ones around the world.

Photo Tip: This cafe saw a lot of popularity thanks to the movie, To All The Boys: Always and Forever. You can get awesome photos here at any time of the day because it is pretty big.

29. 943 King’s Cross Harry Potter Cafe Seoul

Harry Potter fans will consider the 943 King’s Cross Cafe the best place to take pictures in Seoul! There are six floors with amazing photo opportunities. I personally love the first floor with the wands in the bookshelves. I also love the fourth floor which is inspired by the Gryffindor Common Room.

Photo Tip: You can go at any time of the day. Most people come to take photos for Halloween and Christmas. While the trolley has been gone a long time, there is now a giant witch broom.

30. RolaRola Flagship Store

The RolaRola Flagship Store located in Hongdae is one of the best places for Instagram pictures in Seoul. If you’re looking for pink, girly, and retro, then this is a great place for OOTD photos.

Photo Tip: This location is not time dependent and there’s also amazing spots to take photos outside.

Klook.com

31. StyleNanda Pink Pool Cafe Hongdae

StyleNanda is one of the best photography spots in Seoul if you’re looking for something pink to put in your feed. In case you’re wondering, yes there is a “pool” there. No you may not go swimming in it. It is merely for decorative purposes.

Photo Tip: Go in the morning when the cafe opens. There’s not a lot of people there and you can take as many photos as you like.

Most Instagrammable Places in Myeongdong

I always recommend Myeongdong for first time visitors to Seoul. This area is the most foreigner friendly since you can find many Koreans who speak a plethora of languages including Chinese, Japanese, and English.

32. Corner of Shinsegae Department Store

This is another photo I took when I was super bored and looking for creative ways to showcase Seoul. If you go across the street from the department store, you’ll definitely be able to get the same shot I did.

Photo Tip: I recommend coming here around 3pm before the work crowds start going home. This is a great area for street photography and street fashion. I love how you can see the Namsan Tower peeking out in the back.

33. Arc-N-Book

Unfortunately, COVID-19 closed down one of the most popular Arc-N-Book locations in Myeongdong. I’m putting this here on the list because it was one of the most well-known Instagrammable places in Seoul. Believe me, you’re not the only one who feels sad about this.

34. Hello Beautiful Mural

There are so many pretty places in Seoul! The Hello Beautiful Mural on the side of Banila Co. in Myeongdong makes for a really cute inspirational message.

Photo Tip: Go in the morning before the photo traffic gets heavy. Myeongdong is a popular area for tourists.

35. StyleNanda Pink Pool Cafe Myeongdong

Let me tell ya something…. The Style Nanda lipsticks are actually that freaking good. I have a matte one, and once you put it on, that shizz LITERALLY does not budge. So while you’re taking super cute pictures you can definitely stop up to the cafe on top and even the lounge area on the roof.

Photo Tip: The SytleNanda in Myeongdong is great for summer inspired photos. Go in the morning because the cafe does get busy in the afternoon.

36. Star Avenue

Star Avenue located in the Young Lotte World Mall in Myeongdong is a unique Seoul photo spot. If you’re a Kpop fan, then you’re definitely going to love it! Whoever the poster children for Lotte are will be featured here. Before I left South Korea in 2021, it was BTS. Did you know there are also hand molds of the BTS members? You can literally touch hands with them. FYI, Rap Monster has some big ol’ hands. And you know what that means, right? 😉 He’s got a big heart, ya nasty.

Photo Tip: This area is not heavily time dependent. and you can play with all the angles.

The Most Instagrammable Places in Seoul

I know Seoul like the back of my hand. The 2020 pandemic really forced me to go out of my comfort zone. I was constantly looking for new and interesting things to do in Seoul. Instagram Seoul was one of my saving graces so I didn’t go crazy.

37. Banyan Tree Seoul

Banyan Tree is one of the best Instagram spots in Seoul. I mean… How can you say no to a bougie room located on the side of a mountain and overlooking Namsan Tower? If you’re interested, you can book your stay at Banyan Tree here.

Photo Tip: The best time to take photos in the room with a pool are during sunset and at night. You can use fairy lights to really make the place pop.

38. Bukcheon Hanok Village

This is a residential area, so mind your manners and be quiet. Some of my best Seoul pictures have been taken at Bukchon Hanok Village. It’s located on top of a hill between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung and gives picturesque views of the entire town. The charming Bukchon Traditional Hanok village is comprised of alleys and 600 year old hanok perfectly preserved in an urban environment. Another Instagramable place in Seoul is the Secret Garden, so if you do the Bukcheon Hanok Village and Secret Garden tour, you’ll get a special discounted pass to Everland.

Photo Tip: You can go at any time of the day. You’re going to have to walk up a huge hill to get to this Bukchon photo spot, but it is sooooo worth it. I took this one using a Sony 16-35mm lens.

39. Greenmile Cafe Bukchon Hanok Village

Hands down Greenmile Cafe has some of the best matcha coffee I’ve ever tasted in my life. I don’t like my matcha sweet and this place definitely delivered. It was so unique and the aesthetic of the rooftop is 10/10.

Photo Tip: You can go at any time of the day because it’s not super busy. I recommend going in the afternoon on a weekday for a really awesome photo.

40. Color Pool Museum

This place was definitely designed for Instagram. If you’re looking to add a plethora of colors to your feed, then this is the place to do it. You can book your tickets to the Color Pool Museum here.

41. Changdeokgung

Known as one of the five grand palaces of Seoul, do you really want to miss out on such a radiant piece of architecture? I sure don’t. One of the crowning glories of this place is the plethora of colors that great you as you walk along. If you rent a hanbok, you’ll be be granted free entry into all the palaces. Plus, you’ll get loads of compliments on how dashing you look.

Photo Tip: Go during sunset and play with angles because Changdeokgung does get busy.

Klook.com

42. Changdeokgung Secret Garden

Fun Fact. Changdeokgung is the largest of the five grand palaces of Seoul because of the Secret Garden. It was built as a getaway from the king and the most privileged. The king and his escorts would often go in to read books, but mostly play drinking games to amuse themselves. The only way to get into the garden is to actually book a guided tour. But if you book through me, you’ll get an exclusive tour through the garden plus Bukchon Traditional Hanok Village and even get a special discount to Everland.

Photo Tip: Since you’re on a tour, you have to take photos quickly. We actually got left behind by our guide and we got to take tons of photos here. My advice? Conveniently get left behind.

43. Dae-O Bookstore

Rap Monster aka Kim Nam Joon of the ever popular wannabe Backstreet Boys boyband BTS has taken a photo here. After he did, the cafe soared to popularity. I personally like it because it represents Korea of a very far bygone era. This is a secondhand bookshop and a cafe. Honestly, I wish I could read Korean better than I do so I could enjoy it as much as everyone else.

Photo Tip: This Seoul photo spot is located in the courtyard. You can take pictures here at any time.

44. Deoksugung

Deoksugung is a walled compound of palaces in Seoul that was inhabited by members of Korea’s Royal Family during the Joseon monarchy until the annexation of Korea by Japan in 1910. It’s one of the smaller palaces, but it is the most modern.

Photo Tip: You can come at any time of the day. The grounds are expansive. Play with your angles because you never know what you’re gonna get.

45. Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)

The Dongdaemun Designs Plaza aka the DDP is one of the most Instagrammable places in Seoul. It is also one of the most recognizable because of how unique the architecture is. Here you’ll find Seoul Fashion Week being hosted. They also have seasonal exhibits.

Photo Tip: This place gets busy, but if you take a photo at sunset as the building starts to light up, it looks really cool!

46. Gyeongbokgung

Gyeongbokgung is the poster child for traditional palaces in Seoul. When you look it up on Instagram, you’ll see hoards of images taken here. This is the one spot you MUST hit up to have the holy grail of Seoul Instagram photos. Just a friendly reminder if you wear hanbok, you’ll get free entry into the palaces. You can rent your own hanbook at Hanboknam here or book your own Gyeongbokgung Hanbok photoshoot here.

Photo Tip: Gyeongbokgung is always busy! Go during the week right when it opens for the best chance of getting awesome Seoul photos for your Instagram.

47. Ikseon-dong Hanok Village

This little known gem is actually right down the street from Gyeongbokgung. The history of Ikseondong-dong is quite fascinating as during Japanese colonial rule, it was originally intended to be a Japanese traditional home plot. Instead, an entrepreneur who wanted to avoid that, bought the land and turned it into modern hanok homes for the early 20th century. Nowadays, it’s home to trendy cafes, restaurants and shops. If you’re looking for a modern hanbok, you can also buy one here. This entire area is one of the most Instagram worthy places in Seoul. If you’re interested in visiting one of my favorite sections of Seoul, check out the Ultimate Guide to Ikseondong here.

48. Appi Forest Cafe in Ikseondong

This cute and new cafe is jungle themed. They have incredible creamy gelato and its perfect for a hot day. I love the round glass window when you walk into the cafe. It seriously looks like a painting.

Photo Tip: Go in the afternoon during the week or in the morning to get an awesome photo like mine.

49. Glow Seoul

What used to be part of Sala Deng was actually converted into a Japanese cafe. The stepping stones and style of the garden really made me feel like I was visiting Japan during the pandemic.

Photo Tip: This place is popular so go in the morning before it opens.

50. Moxy Rooftop

If you want to be close to all the traditional aspects if Seoul, you have to stay at The Moxy! It’s only a few years old too! Just be aware their cocktails are excellent, but their food isn’t. You can book your stay at the Moxy in Insadong here.

Photo Tip: I went to the rooftop for my 30th birthday in 2020. A lot of people didn’t know about this rooftop then so it was fairly empty. We stayed until close.

Klook.com

51. Sala Deng Bangkok

Sala Deng Bangkok in Ikseondong is one of my favorite Instagram worthy restaurants in Seoul. It has amazingly tasty Koreanized Thai food. It’s not very spicy and has hints of sweet in it.

Photo Tip: Sala Deng is a very popular restaurant in Ikeseondong and is always busy. Go when the cafe opens during the week.

52. I Seoul U Sign at Ttukseom Park

The I Seoul U sign is one of the most recognizable Seoul photo spots. There’s a more famous one at Hangang Park in Yeouido, but since this one was closer to where I used to live, I snapped a photo here too. There’s not a lot of people hanging around so it’s easy to take a photo and go.

53. Jogyesa Temple

Jogyesa Temple is a Buddhist Temple in the heart of Seoul. They have really cool floral displays throughout the year. (My favorite was the floral dinosaurs in Fall 2020.) It is a beautiful and well-maintained temple. In addition, Jogyesa Temple also offers temple stays.

Photo Tip: Play with your angles here. If you try to take a photo under the tree where you can see the temple, you’re probably going to get tons of people in your shot. If you want to avoid that, go during the week.

54. Iwha Mural Village

Located near Naksan Park, this plot on the side of the mountain was intended to be a fun village with a lot of street art. Over 70 artists contributed to the “Ihwa-dong Naksan Project” in 2006. A favorite on the Instagram algorithm are these angel wings. Many popular Seoul Instagram photos are taken here. You can go whenever you’d like to take pictures.

55. Melting Pom

This cafe is a bit out of the way. I only discovered it when I was studying for the KIIP Program. It’s open from noon and you can go whenever to play with the adorable poms. From what I’ve seen there’s new additions to the family. P.S. Honey, I’m sorry I cheated on you.

56. Namsan Tower

Of course, this being the creme de la creme, you can’t miss out on Seoul’s most iconic landmark. There’s many Instagram photo zones located around the tower. Legend has it if you put a lock of love there, you will be with your love forever. Hate to be the troll here, but I went a double date with my best friend. Spoiler alert. Her husband and my bf didn’t last, but our friendship did. In any case, it’s also totally worth it to take the cable car up the mountain and actually go up to the observation deck, so take photos there too… or forever suffer from FOMO!

Photo Tip: I recommend going at sunset and even booking yourself a fancy dinner in the Namsan Tower restaurant Grill. This tower is popular and has been featured in countless Korean dramas. If you want an unfettered moment like mine, go during the week to Urban Cliff Cafe.

57. Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Grand Hyatt Seoul is another one of my favorite hotels for afternoon tea. They have a spectacular cherry blossom tea set every spring. You can also book stay at the Seoul Grand Hyatt here.

Photo Tip: Go out on the terrace after you eat to get an amazing Seoul photo overlooking the skyline.

58. Seoul Botanic Park

If you’re looking to breathe fresh and clean air because you’ve had enough of the nasty pollution in Seoul, you need to pay a visit to the Seoul Botanic Park. You can visit at anytime because the glass really helps filter out the harsh light.

59. Sikmulgwan PH Botanical Garden

This is another stunning garden to grab your fresh air fix in Seoul. It’s a cafe so you can grab food and drinks, take tons of cute photos, and enjoy an afternoon here.

Photo Tip: Go during the week because this botanical garden is very popular, especially on Instagram.

60. Suguksa Temple

The Suguksa Temple is a bit difficult to get to. Technically it’s still in Seoul, but it doesn’t have very good public transport to get to it. Honestly, it’s a bit of a hike, but if you have time to kill then I recommend visiting this stunning place.

Klook.com

61. Yongma Land

If you’re looking for creepy, grungy, or OOTD photos, then you HAVE to stop to take photos at Yongma Land. This is a photographer’s dream. Yongma Land is one of the most Instagram worthy spots in Seoul due to the fact that it is an abandoned amusement park that was repurposed.

Photo Tip: You can go at any time and I recommend paying the additional wons to get the carousel to turn on at night.

I hope you all enjoyed this rendition of the most Instagram worthy places in Seoul. Of course, be sure to bookmark this post because as time goes by, I’m sure I will find more Instagram worthy places in Korea and Seoul. Don’t miss out on it, because your girl loves exploring the Land of the Morning Calm.

  1. Definitely agree with this list. Lots of great places in Seoul for those awesome shots. Myeongdong and Bukchon have some interesting backgrounds, too. Anywhere in Seoul, really, haha.

  2. I’ve looked and looked even clicking every number on your map but I can’t find anything for Appi Forest Cafe in Ikseondong. Literally nothing comes up in that name. A few suggested cafes but none show that round window 🙁

Are you sure that’s the name?
