This is not a drill. I repeat. This is NOT a drill. Ladies, have you ever wanted to be taken around Seoul by the man of your dreams? If you don’t know what an oppa is, this is the Korean term for older brother, but it can also be used as a term of endearment between couples or good friends and even coworkers. Literally this is the most versatile (and best word imo) in the Korean language. As a matter of fact, it was one of the first words I learned before I came to Korea in 2014. BOOM.
Ladies, legit this is your Korean dream come true so get ready to start fangirling really hard about what I’m going to tell you. If you love travel and you love handsome men, this is the platform for you.

The Tours
Oh My Oppa offers a a variety of tours for a variety of different interests. This is a private tour just for you and your tour guide. That way all the attention is on you. 😉 Currently there are seven oppas you can book with. Let’s make this a success ladies, so there will be even MORE handsome oppas in the future.
Aiden – His area of expertise falls along the lines of Ikseon dong which is one of the oldest hanok villages in Seoul. It’s also one of the hottest dating spots for Korean couples. Why not ask him to take you along?
Arami – This is your oppa if you want to bike along the Han River or a famous Game arcade in Hongdae where all the Korean trends begin.
Hue – Are you more into tradition and culture? Hue runs a beautiful cafe where he grew up. He loves traditional culture like that around Bukchon Hanok Village. If you need an escape from the noisy city, Hue is the guy for you.
William – Are you into food? Well, for all you food perverts out there, William is an expert on everything mouthwateringly delicious at the Gwangjang Market. Worried about your waistline? You’ll be going for a walk along the Cheonggyechon Stream (which is also a popular date spot btw).
Kihyun – One of their newest oppas, Kihyun will take you around the Coex mall (which is pretty much a maze btw) or for a bike ride along the Han River.
Jake – Are you into more luxury places and Gangnam? I am too. Jake will take you around to a board game cafe and game room during the day and the romantic Banpo Market at night. 😉
Sam – Are you ready to experience the far east side of Seoul? Check out the Sky Tower which is the biggest building in Korea.
Ryan – Ryan studied architecture so he knows loads about the traditional aspects of Korean buildings. You can rent a hanbok with Ryan Oppa and he’ll take you around Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Sean Oppa
If you love animals and trendy stores, Sean Oppa is the guy for you! You can go to a Raccoon Cafe where you can play with these adorable trash pandas. Get a kick out of this ladies. He’s also a fashion model and he works out so you should trust what he says. Sean speaks English very well so don’t worry about miscommunications. He’s also very knowledgeable and knows were to take you to have a great time! Did I mention Sean is also thoughtful? Wanna know more about Sean? Book a tour with him Wednesday through Sunday and follow him on Instagram.
Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival
I was really excited to meet with Sean and go see the cherry blossoms in Yeouido. It’s something I’ve never done. Fun fact, this is usually held mid April when all the pretty flowers such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, and forsythia are in bloom. Here’s even more fun for your fact. There’s 1,886 cherry trees along the road. Boom. At night the cherry blossoms are usually lit up and visitors can enjoy street food and various performances. While we were there, a street performer was singing Beautiful Life from the Goblin OST. Can you tell I’m kind of obsessed?

This is informative. I’ve been looking to tour Seoul for a while now!
Jake would probably be my go to lol. I love luxury spaces and I feel like I haven’t explored Gangnam enough! Visiting raccoon cafes is always and awesome idea! I haven’t been to one in Seoul but I’ve been to one in my city.
Great post Gina 🙂 Actually I think the idea is pretty cute, as a solo female traveler many times when I see something pretty it feels a bit lonely to not have anyone to share it with or anyone to take a nice picture of you on that spot, also I love meeting new people, so having someone local showing you around you will get the real deal. Maybe great to make friends as well 🙂 I just wish they will add females too, I am not sure if I would hire an Oppa but something like oh my Chingu or oh my Eunni would be something that I would definitely consider 🙂 thanks for the post <3
I’m not even into anything Korean, like not a big fan of K-pop or K-beauty products in particular, but the concept of Oh My Oppa is so interesting that I actually open the hyperlink on your blog. The tagline of “Rent a Korean Oppa for a tour” is definitely a catch, like now I have to check whether this oppa is available for a chance of something more! 😛
I am really impressed by the variety of tours that they have curated. There are so many options to choose from that definitely everyone will get to pick a tour as per their liking, with oh my oppa. Thanks for explaining the meaning of Oppa – thats really interesting.
Does this mean we have to pay for their meals and expenses? Like trips? If say I want to go to jehu, will I have to pay for that and his stay, food and etc?
They don’t offer trips to Jeju. If you look at the website, you can see what is included and not included.
