8. Coco Tulum Swings

Tulum wouldn’t be Tulum unless there were swings everywhere and you can definitely find some of the best ones at the Colo Unlimited Hotel. Their beach club is one of the best Instagram spots in Tulum.

These black and white swings make a dreamy foreground to the beautiful beaches with white sand and water. Since this is a beach club, you can spend the day here relaxing and enjoying the beach.

9. Conestesia

For those of you who don’t speak Spanish they put the word conejo which means bunny and estesia which means feeling. Making the name of the place as bunny feeling. Pretty cool, eh?

This was my favorite spot in Tulum asthere is no minimum consumption and you can stay as long as you like. If you’re a fan of house music and a beach bar, you’ll also really enjoy the vibe here.

12. Matcha Mama

Another of the most famous Instagrammable places in Tulum is Matcha Mama. The white Matcha Mama swings, and “I Love You So Matcha” sign are just super iconic.

I give Match Mama the Gina Bear seal of approval because the matcha isn’t sweet. I despise sweet matcha with a passion, so this place is PERFECT. Come grab cold smoothie bowls and drinks.

The Most Instagrammable Cenotes in Tulum
14. Cenote Azul

Tulum may be known for stunning beaches and a deep connection to nature, but nothing beats the heat like a dip in a cenote. It is an open-air cenote and not a cave one trendy for its crystal blue waters and snorkeling.
It’s actually located only 25 km from Playa del Carmen and 40 km from Tulum making it a great day trip. There’s also a cool Bike Trail Cenote Tour To Hidden Cenotes in the jungle.

Best Time To Visit: Any time! Spend the day there jumping off cliffs!
Entrance Fee: 120 Mexican Pesos ($7USD).
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Address: Riviera Maya, Carr. Cancún – Tulum Km 266, 77734 Playa del Carmen, Q.R.

15. Cenote Calavera

I never thought I’d like cenotes until I experienced them in Tulum. The summer heat is unbearable. The best way to cool down is to go swimming.

Cenotes are sink holes filled with fresh water from rain or underground rivers. Cenote Calavera is a five minute drive from Tulum town. What makes it so popular is the ladder and the swing down at the bottom. Cenote Calavera is 4 – 6 meters (15 – 20 feet deep). There is also a photography fee of 200 Mexican Pesos ($10USD).

Best Time To Visit: Get there right when it opens or an hour before closing.
Entrance Fee: 250 Mexican Pesos ($13USD)
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Address: QROO 109, 77796 Tulum, Q.R.

16. Cenote Taak Bi Ha

Cenote Taak-bi-ha is one of the most beautiful cenotes of the Riviera Maya with crystal clear waters and spectacular rock formations. It’s located in the Dos Ojos Park which is why I recommend getting the 3 cenote hopping pass.

Best Time To Visit: In the early morning.
Entrance Fee: 350 Mexican Pesos ($18USD)
Hours: 8:30 am – 5pm
Address: Taak Bi, Parque Dos Ojos Cenote S/N, Xel-Ha, 77762 Tulum, Q.R

17. Cenote Casa Tortuga

One of the best instagram places in Tulum is Cenote Casa Tortuga. Like all cenotes in Tulum, it is beautiful, clean, clear, and cool. Here, you will find four different cenotes in one place. I would avoid visiting during tourist season because the water gets a bit oily from sunscreen.

Best Time To Visit: Right when it opens.
Entrance Fee: 350 Mexican Pesos ($18USD)
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Address: Carr. Tulum – Cancún 239, Ejidal, 77780 Tulum, Q.R.

18. Gran Cenote (Grand Cenote)

Gran Cenote is beautiful for photos, but to be honest, it was one of my least favorite cenotes. The only thing it’s good for is photos, so I recommend going early and then leaving for Dos Ojos Cenote. I honestly don’t know why the Gran Cenote one of the Instagrammable places in Tulum, but here we are.

Best Time To Visit: Visit early in the morning at 8am when this cenote opens.
Entrance Fee: 300 Mexican Pesos ($15USD)
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Address: Quintana Roo 109, 77796 Tulum, Q.R

19. Dos Ojos Cenote

Dos Ojos Cenote is one of the most Instagram worthy places in Tulum. It is located in a park with two other beautiful cenotes. You can purchase a pass to visit all three for 650 Mexican Pesos ($33USD). I chose this option and had the best time cenote hopping.

The main cenote has two caverns connected by a passage, thus earning the name Dos Ojos.

Since the cenote is a well-known Instagram location in Tulum, you have to pay a photography fee of 200 Mexican Pesos (if you’re using professional cameras).

Luckily, I have mad Spanish speaking skills and I convinced the workers no one said anything to me when I walked in and they let me snap away. If they’re in a bad mood or you look like a stereotypical tourist, you won’t be so lucky and you’ll have to pay.

Best Time To Visit: 8:30am when it opens so you can have it to yourself because it’s popular for families and divers.
Entrance Fee: 350 Mexican Pesos ($18USD)
Hours: 8:30 am – 5pm
Address: Cenote Jaguar Rd, 77780 Tulum, Q.R.

The Most Instagrammable Lagoons in Tulum

20. Kaan Luum Lagoon

If you find yourself in Tulum during seaweed season (like I did), then I highly recommend going to the Kaan Luum Lagoon to cool off. The lagoon is shallow so if you can’t swim, this is perfect for you.

There’s also a really cool tour that takes you here to Kaan Luum and includes lunch.

Best Time To Visit: You can go at any time during the day and it will be amazing.
Entrance Fee: 300 Mexican Pesos ($25 USD)
Hours: 9am – 4pm
Address: laguna kaan luum, 77760 Tulum, Q.R.

The Most Instagrammable Beaches in Tulum

21. Playa Paraíso | Paradise Beach

It’s not a tropical beach destination without a crooked palm tree to hang on. Am I right, or am I right? The palm tree here is crooked enough to climb on and makes for amazing Tulum Instagram photos.

The Most Instagrammable Places In Tulum

23. Tulum Ruins

This is one of my least favorite places I visited in Tulum. These ancient Mayan ruins are beautiful for photos when there are no people…

Sadly, there were hoards of tour buses dropping people off at the archaeological site. I was so overwhelmed I left shortly after the crowds poured in. If you do intend to visit, I recommend going in the off season.

Best Time To Visit: 9am when it opens.
Entrance Fee: 80 Mexican Pesos ($4USD)

24. Tulum Sign

The Tulum sign isn’t one of the top Instagrammable places in Tulum because of how unique it is. It’s located in front of the Cervecería Tulum so make sure you bring a DD and a camera man or lady to fully enjoy this. The sign is made out of wood with the letters decorated beautifully. There’s even swings in the U.

Hours: 24/7
Address: Cancun – Chetumal Km 230, Parque Tankah, 77789 Tulum, Q.R.

25. Ven a la Luz Tulum

Ven a la Luz is a great spot for photos in Tulum. The statue is the form of a woman baring her chest and inside everything is in bloom. This beautiful 33-foot wooden sculpture by South African artist Daniel Popper, meaning “Come to the Light.”

Due to the structure being one of the most popular spots and causing chaos on the main road, it had to be moved. Located on Calle Corazón de Jesús, the sculpture isn’t visible from the road, so look for a blackboard at the entrance.

Best Time To Visit: Go super early in the morning or late in the evening for soft light. Also, there’s a one minute time frame for taking photos at peak visiting hours. Have your poses and shots planned out before you go!
Entrance Fee: FREE
Hours: 24/7
Address: QROO 15, Tulum Beach, Q.R.

26. Follow That Dream Sign

I’m not a fan of large crowds and you definitely won’t find any here. The “Follow That Dream” sign is my favorite Instagram location in Tulum.

You’ll find it in front of the Lolita Lolita Boutique, which I think is also great to stop in. They sell swimsuits, handmade beauty products, handmade dresses, and even fun things for the bedroom.

One of the most popular things to do in Tulum is rent a bike and you can rent them at various places on the strip starting from $10.

Best Time To Visit: You can visit this place at any time. It’s very far down the strip, so there won’t be crowds of people lining up to take a photo.
Entrance Fee: FREE
Hours: 24/7
Address: Carr. Tulum-Boca Paila km 8.5, Tulum Beach, Zona Hotelera, 77780 Tulum, Q.R.
