I know I’m going to get crap for this, but I really enjoyed the Netflix show Emily in Paris. Just like everyone else, I was dying to know all the Emily in Paris filming locations. I enjoyed experiencing French food and drink with her, and of course all the handsome men she encountered. The show represents the typical Paris stereotype, but I took it for what it was…entertainment. (I’m also a really big fan of actress Lily Collins.) But legit, I relate to Emily on a personal level as I am indeed a Chicagoan who also has a deep hatred of Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza.
As someone who lived abroad in both Korea and Japan for almost a decade, I can see a lot of problematic behavior on Emily’s part. She tried to take her American ways to change the French and they’re just like, “Nah. Not today, Satan.” Emily is a great example of how not to act as a white entitled person guesting in a foreign country.
The character is definitely not the first or last American having their moments in Paris drinking French wine, eating pain au chocolat, and taking five million photos with the Eiffel Tower.
So let’s get down to it. Where is Emily in Paris filmed? This blog post is going to help you skip the nonsense and get right to where all the Emily in Paris locations are from season one.

1. Café de Flore
Season 1 Episode 6
Café de Flore is one of the oldest cafes in Paris and an established coffeehouse. It is touted as the gathering place for some of the most famous writers and philosophers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. (Think Midnight in Paris starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.) French designer Sonia Rykiel was also a regular patron at this establishment—the café has a sandwich named after her!
Address: 172 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris, France
2. Café de la Nouvelle Mairie
Season 1 Episode 5
This is the breakfast place of choice for Emily and Mindy. Start your day with fresh coffee and croissants. Do as the locals do and try a large array of wines at night.
