UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, Urban Space in Myeongdong (including the entire building) has closed their doors for good. I’m very sad to see this super fun and cute cafe go. If you’re interested in other cute cafes in Seoul, check out my guide on The Most Pink Instagram Worthy Cafes in Seoul.
Are you all loving this cafe series because I sure am! If you’re seeking the cutest, pinkest, trendiest, and most instagrammable cafes in Seoul, you definitely need to check out Urban Space Myeongdong. This cafe is ten times more pink with all the yummy drinks from Urban Space Seongsu.
If you’re visiting for a short period of time or you’re a seasoned veteran of Korea, this is up there with one of the most girly top Instagram spots in Seoul.

About the Urban Space Myeongdong Experience
This location is a lot smaller than the Urban Space in Seongsu but is conveniently located in the biggest shopping district of Korea. (But Myeongdong is also the most expensive. I cringe to think about the month’s rental fee.) That means you can shop until you drop, grab a drink and relax in this pretty cool instagram worthy cafe in Seoul. It’s really unique and the price you pay for the food or drinks is definitely worth the fun you’ll have.
This is truly an Urban Space transformation because you’re taking all the ugly and drab surrounding buildings and giving people a fun place to go to. Like aren’t you excited to be a kid all over again? And P.S. Pink is the best color for Urban Space Cafe Seoul. Fight me on it, I dare you.

About the Menu
Beer is priced starting at 8,000 won and for a fancy but oh so instagrammable cocktail, you’ll be paying 13,000 won and above. (I really want to try the sparkler drink one of these days.) You’ll also get some yummy Urban Space eats here but prepare to pay a pretty penny. If I were you, I’d also just eat the street food because that is what Myeongdong is known for. They have things like fried mozzarella sticks and french fries to whet your appetite. At the Urban Space bar, I ordered the shopping cart. My drink was orange juice mixed with Malibu, and for me, the perfect amount of sweet and tart.

Photo Zones
Urban Space Korea has photo zones galore for your Instagram pleasure. Instagram worthy spots in Seoul mean a lot when the weather is super hot or cold and these zones are bound to tickle your climate controlling fantasies. Luckily, there’s many different areas to take pictures so you don’t have to fight with the masses of tourists and people in Seoul to get your turn.
Swings Galore
What’s an Instagram spot in Seoul without all the fun swings? Take your pick at a rainbow, watermelon, or ice cream. You know. Whatever your flavor is. See what I did there? 😉 Urban Space Seoul even allows you to write a cute little memo and stick it to the wall if you choose.
The Uber Pink Ball Pit of Happiness
This ball pit is fun for the family and more. Make sure you take off your shoes before going in. I’ve seen families come here and have a drink and let their kids bounce around until they get tired. This ball pit comes complete with all sorts of inflatables, sparkles, hearts, unicorns, and a pool side seating area. Like… Yes please!
How to Get There
From Myeongdong Station (Line 4) walk out exit 8. Make your first left. Walk down three streets and it will be on the fifth floor in a building on your right. It’s literally only a five minute walk and oh so easy to get to!

At Urban Space Korea you can easily waste about one to two hours (and even more if you’re picky about photos.) One of the biggest and most fun trends in Korea are to find instagram worthy cafes in Seoul. Since hanging out at someone’s house isn’t really a thing in this culture, Koreans have gotten really creative with aesthetics and decorating cafes. I for one love this trend and want it to live on forever. If you’re looking for more information or cute photo inspiration, check out the Urban Space Instagram page for all the fun updates!

Good blog, bringing back memory of Seoul… Myeongdong which in Korean means “bright tunnel” or “bright cave” perhaps has its image enhanced by the bright, shiny, and polished image of this place and the Korean pop idols.
